Rahim Thompson is a 45 year old Husband and Father of two daughters. He is a Gro Houngan in Haitian Voodoo at Le Peristyle Haitian Sanctuary. 

He has over twenty years in the business of basketball event management which include coordinating The 2011 NBA Lockout Game at The Palestra in Philadelphia which included Carmelo Anthony,LeBron James,Chris Paul,Kyle Lowry and numerous other NBA Players.

Rahim founded The Chosen League a High School summer basketball league based out of Philadelphia Pennsylvania that have produced seven McDonalds All Americans and nine NBA Draft Picks. 

Rahim has long-standing business relationships with Nike Basketball, The Philadelphia 76ers, Red Bull and have been featured in EA Sports NBA Live Video Game Series.

Rahim Thompson was born deaf with a broken foot. 

Rahim Thompson was homeless. 

Rahim Thompson was ridiculed for his religious beliefs. 

Rahim Thompson was laughed at for sharing his ambition and goals. 

Rahim Thompson was hit by a truck. 

Rahim Thompson has cried. 

Rahim Thompson has doubted himself. 

Through all of that, Rahim Thompson still rose,

and in that process, he helped others and instilled belief and faith in those

who doubted themselves.

Though life’s obstacles and basketball this was one of my favorite books I read in a long time!! You don’t have to play basketball to understand the life lessons. I suggest everyone to pick up this book ASAP! It’s a game changer!
